Virgin Cruises Reader Offers

When looking for a Cruise its important to read through the best offers in order to get the best value for money, note down the best prices, use this as a bartering tool with your preferred agent. I have always found Virgin Cruises to be fantastic.

All Cruises are overbooked especially when agents are giving reader offers, they expect percentages of all bookings to cancel. The Cruise Lines will monitor trends and oversell accordingly. Therefore not like your traditional package holiday, rarely is there a Last Minute Offer available.

If you can be flexible about when you taking your Cruise you can talk to the Cruise Line directly and mention that if the Cruise has been oversold your willing to be moved to the next available date. At this point you can barter more, I’d try for a Free Cruise, Free Flights or Credit for when your on-board.

Another thing to watch is prices as they often change throughout the day, for example it maybe cheaper to book in the morning than in the afternoon.  Read through Cruise sites regularly and note any fluctuation in price.

The most common tactic is to book the Cruise in advance then notify your Travel Agent if it goes down in price. They will more often than not, refund the difference.

Can you get late deal cruises, like you can for holidays ?

Thanks Benni

I suppose you could always speak to your local travel agent for ideas then book online
