Royal Caribbean Cruises, the only way to travel
The Caribbean is a colourful and wonderful place. It is one of the best places on earth in which one can relax on sandy beaches next to crystal clear waters. Royal Caribbean Cruises provide a very comfortable way of visiting this wonderful area.
The term “Caribbean” is derived from the Carib Indians who were present when the first European contact was made in the region in the 15th century. There are hundreds of great beaches in the Caribbean and each island has its own identity and traditions. Every island has a colonial history, vibrant scenery, and the amazing rhythm of reggae.
One of the most famous islands of the Caribbean is Barbados. Annually, over a million people visit the place. Barbados is relatively flat and is a coral island that retains much from its 350 years of colonial rule. The historic capital of the island is Bridgetown, which has many streets that are well suited for afternoon strolls.
One of the windward islands of the Caribbean is the volcanic island of St Lucia. It has many white sandy beaches and the interior of the island is covered with a rain forest. The Pitons (peaks) are one of the most popular landmarks of St. Lucia. For those who are interested in wildlife, Tobago and Trinidad are incredible islands suited just for them. Tobago has around 200 bird species while Trinidad has 450 bird species. Without much walking or driving, many species can be seen due to the ease of accessibility and the small size of both islands.
There are quaint villages throughout the Caribbean to be enjoyed. They have coffee plantations and lush rain forests. As you discover the musical rhythm and colonial history of the area, you cannot avoid relaxing in this amazing atmosphere.
