On a Gypsy Trail

Few people like the idea of a ‘formal’ holiday, and quite naturally so. After all, a holiday is a time when you let your hair down, do a few outrageous things that your stodgy, workplace self would never dream of doing.

Ocean Village Cruises
are the last word in ‘informal’ holidays. In fact, their tag line is ‘the cruise for people who don’t do cruises’. They don’t do capital letters either, that would be stuffy.

All jokes aside, the Ocean Village Cruise line offers people a laid back atmosphere where you are allowed to do as much or as little as you want. There is no set itinerary. In fact, doing nothing is one of the cruise line’s best and most attractive options.

A cruise aboard an Ocean Village ship will make a world traveller out of the most housebound person in just seven days. You may fall asleep in one place only to wake in another.

Therefore, if you are, for instance, on a Mediterranean cruise, you might go to sleep in Dubrovnik and wake up in Corfu. If you are on the Caribbean, you could snuggle down in St. Lucia and wake to the sun rising over Martinique.

The great thing about these cruises is that you can eat whenever you want. You can take in a delicious, fancy meal in the middle of the night or in the afternoon. Food is served round the clock aboard an Ocean Village cruise. You may eat alone, with friends, or with fellow free spirits you have been waiting to meet your entire cruise-less life!

If you thought cruises were meant only for people with dinner jackets and bow ties, think again. Cruises don’t have to be stuffy or structured. There’s definitely a cruise out there with your name on it.

Me and my wife went on a OVC and really enjoyed it, we didn’t want to be on a cruise surrounded by oldies
