Heading Off: Cruise Holidays and What They Offer

Are you in love with the ocean? Do you dream of waking up to a gentle, rocking motion and the smell of salt in the air? Maybe you just want to curl up with a book in a chair and gaze out at the waves.

Imagine you could do all this while enjoying luxurious amenities and impeccable service. That’s what a cruise has to offer you.

Cruise holidays are popular for families, honeymoons or the perfect getaway for the busy professional. Whichever category you fall into, you have a plethora of tempting options to choose from.

Have you always dreamed of seeing the Caribbean? Why not take the five-night Western Caribbean Cruise offered by the Royal Caribbean International Cruise Lines. Or maybe you could take the Short Break 4 Night Cruise if you absolutely have to be back in the office the following Monday. There is an option for every kind of person.

If a Mediterranean cruise is what you had in mind, Costa Cruises offers you a quick three night tour aboard the Costa Victoria. If you can spare some more time or if you have been planning a romantic getaway to the Greek islands, you can enjoy a week’s worth of cruising Costa’s Aegean Highlights route. Incidentally, the cruise ship is also called Costa Romantica.

Royal Caribbean Cruises start from around £700 upwards per person in approximation while Costa Cruises will be an upwards of £500. Prices range when it comes to cruise packages, so be sure to do your research.

So, if you’re on the lookout for the perfect holiday spot, remember that you don’t have to choose just one! You could be exploring the mighty oceans and embark on a great adventure during your next holiday.

I think I’d find it hard to sleep on a cruise ship if it was rocking in the night, it might help me if i was in a balcony room, so i got some fresh air through the doors

I’d like to go on a cruise just to say that i’ve been on one and experienced it.

I often think that you should try a cruise, as most people are often suprised by how much they have to offer.
