When it comes to evening entertainment in Glasgow you have a wide choice of nightclubs to choose from. Take for example the Cat House that is known as Scotland’s top rock club. This club is on Union Street where it meets Argyle Street, close to MacDonald’s, so it’s easy to find. It’s been going for more than 14 years and has live gigs and DJ’s.
For something a little different there is The Truffle Club on Drury Street, which is Glasgow’s only tableside dancing club. The club says that it offers a sophisticated and very stylish venue for a gentleman’s evening in the city. The decor is plush and comfortable and guests are served at their tables with their choice of selected wine, champagne, and that something extra in the way of entertainment.
There is a whole collection of different types of nightclubs and evening entertainment venues in Glasgow’s entertainment area. They cater for all age groups and preferences right there in one place. The city is well known as being Scotland’s best venue for nightclubs and it is so popular that some visitors come especially to spend a weekend going to the clubs.
You don’t have to go to a club to find some evening entertainment in Glasgow though, there are a number of bars in different styles and a selection of cafe bars and restaurants.
There is also a choice of eight cinemas, including the 18-screen IMAX with its 12000- watt digital sound system and a screen that is a bit bigger than a five-a-side football pitch.
You will always find something interesting to do in Glasgow.
