Canada and New England Cruises

Renowned for the colourful autumn landscape, cruise holidays to Canada and New England are especially popular around this time of year, but can also offer far more than just scenery. This will be the ideal destination for any thrill-seeking cruisers and has a longer season than most other adventure locations.

Many cruise holidays can be found to Canada and New England and there are a variety of departure points, including New York and Boston. No matter how long you decide to sail for, there are a variety of different ports along the way that will each offer a unique experience. Among the most popular are Martha’s Vineyard, Newfoundland, where a visit to French St. Pierre et Miquelon should not be missed and Prince Edward Island, which is an ideal location for family days out.

Princess, Royal Caribbean and Carnival cruises all offer voyages along the east coast of the US and Canada and you will be able to have a choice of either large or small vessels. You should be aware that the bigger vessels to tend to offer more family-focused activities, so this will be well worth considering if you are travelling with kids. Carnival and Royal Caribbean cruises are particularly noted for catering to younger travellers and offer exciting excursions such as the Reversing the Rapids Jet Boat Ride” in Saint John, New Brunswick and the Acadia National Park.

The advantage of smaller ships is that they will be able to take you places the larger ones can’t reach.
